Welcome to CSRLT 2.0!

If you’re reading this, you’ve found our shiny new website.  Isn’t it lovely?  We certainly think so — although we may be biased.  Go ahead, take a look around.  See what you can find.  Let us know what you think.  We’re still adding more content, so be sure to check back often to see what’s new.

Why the new site?

Our number one reason for the redesign was so we could better communicate with you!  There’s so much going on at the Land Trust — at the moment we’re conserving an acre a day — that we were finding it difficult to keep up with those who so generously support us.  So first, a big shout out to all of our members and sponsors.  It is you who are doing this great work.  We’re just the hands and feet, so to speak.

Right now, we are working on a couple of projects that will put us over the 6,000 acre mark.  That’s an area the size of downtown Augusta.  Or, put another way, that’s like lining football fields up end-to-end stretching along I-20 from Washington Road to Hwy 78 in Thomson.  Either way you look at it, that’s a lot of land.  Protected, now, forever.  And that’s something to celebrate.

Won’t you Celebrate with Us?

And we will be celebrating.  October 24th is our 10th Annual Bash – a huge party on the banks of the Savannah with killer views of 100s of acres of Land Trust preserves, awesome live music, delicious food, and plenty of refreshments.  Get your tickets now before they’re sold out.

We hope you enjoy our new site.  Stay tuned for more content, coming really soon.  If you like us, why not send us a little website-warming gift or like us on Facebook?  And don’t forget the Bash on October 24th.

We’ll see you at the River.
