For the first time since before Covid, the Central Savannah River Land Trust is thrilled to bring back our legendary Bash—this year at our beautiful Sugarberry Hill Preserve.
You may remember this property as “Laverlea,” but we’ve restored its original name, Sugarberry Hill—the name Mrs. Laverne Dorn, who entrusted this land to us, used in her own writings. It’s a name that honors both the history and spirit of this special place.
Join us for fresh oysters, slow-roasted pork with all the fixings, an open bar, live music, and friends old and new. In addition, we’ll be giving away door prizes from top outdoor brands such as Bajío Sunglasses, Chris Williams Knives, Taconic Distillery, Tom Beckbe, and YETI. Your tickets will help keep this preserve thriving and open to the community, and enable us to conserve more land across the CSRA.
