For the first time since Covid, the Central Savannah River Land Trust is thrilled to bring back our legendary Bash—this year at our beautiful Sugarberry Hill Preserve.
You may remember this property as “Laverlea.” We’ve restored its original name, Sugarberry Hill—the name Mrs. Laverne Dorn, who entrusted this land to us, used in her own writings. It’s a name that honors both the history and spirit of this special place.
Join us for fresh oysters, slow-roasted pork with all the fixings, an open bar, live music, and friends old and new. Your ticket helps keep this preserve thriving and open to the community, and enables us to conserve more land across the CSRA.
The Sugarberry Bash begins will be held at 712 Blanchard Road in Evans on November 6, 2025, at 4 pm. Tickets are $100 per person. Follow the link to the ticket portal. We hope to see you there.
